KELLY BURNS | FOUNDER + MANAGING DIRECTOR
Kelly is no newcomer to the event industry – in fact, she made her first debut as an event producer at the ripe age of five years old, in her family’s living room in Northern California. Kelly was always primed for the action of live events and has since become a well-respected professional in the industry and oftentimes referred to as a ‘badass’ by her peers.
As the founder + managing director of AGENCYNESS, a corporate event agency based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kelly remains devoted to her passion in providing world-class events consistently while delivering a personalized experience for their clients. As a creative and innovative professional, equally influenced by an agency and a corporate background, she brings a level of expertise in all aspects of successful project planning.
Before devoting her work full-time to AGENCYNESS, Kelly served as the Head of Events + Design for Sephora where she built, managed and pivoted (hello COVID-19 lockdown) a high-performing corporate events team while producing shows globally -- from Dubai to Las Vegas, Shanghai to San Francisco and many additional stops in-between. She quickly made an impact elevating the events at Sephora and ignited their culture into live events in forward-thinking ways.
Prior to Sephora, Kelly had worked with a diverse clientele with a primary focus in event production + management solutions with clients to include Apple Inc., Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Starbucks, Hermés, Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Forty Niners, Zynga, Stanford Universities and dozens more. As an accomplished producer she has spearheaded many celebrity appearances and performances over the years from the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, The Imagine Dragons, Paul Newman and Huda Kattan … just to name a few.
Kelly has been recognized for her accomplishments with multiple corporate awards and a few industry nominations along the way.
